The oldest living organism in the world is 80,000 years old and clones itself. Known as Pando, and nicknamed the Trembling Giant, this organism is actually a single grove of Quaking Aspen trees in Utah.

About Quaking Aspen

These trees are super hardy and tend to sucker, so be careful where you plant them. With beautiful fall foliage, they prefer wetter conditions and won’t tolerate dry soils in their early years. They’re hardy all the way down to zone 1.

These trees are bare root and currently 2–3 ft. tall.
