Native American Plum (Bundle of 2)
Native American Plum (Bundle of 2)
The Native American plum produces fragrant, white flowers in showy, flat-topped clusters that bloom before the leaves in spring. These flowers are tied with Linden trees for the best floral, perfumy blossom smell when in bloom.
Fruit and Uses
The fruit that follows ripens to a shiny, bright red in August or September. It’s great dried, fresh (if left to ripen longer on the tree), or in preserves.
Pollination and Benefits
Native American plums will pollinate each other, making them a fantastic choice for a windbreak or as a pollinator attractant. Help support native pollinators by adding this tree to your landscape!
Cold Hardiness
This plum variety is hardy to -50°F or more, making it suitable for extremely cold climates.
Tree Size
These trees are 3–4 ft. tall.
