Purple Raspberries
Our purple raspberries inherit the finest qualities of both red and black raspberries, reflecting the strengths of their parent varieties. They have a bold flavor, better hardiness than most blackberries, and heavy yields. In our experience, they thrive across much of Western Montana, although they probably cannot handle temps sub -40F unless mulched heavily (this is our suspicion). The berries are super flavorful, with a rich, wine-colored fruit that are good for fresh eating or preserves.
