Fruit Vines
Our collection of fruit vines consists of hardy kiwis and grape vines. The hardy kiwis are cousins of the fuzzy kiwis that can be found in the grocery store. These kiwis produce smooth-skinned, bite-sized fruit that taste like tropical kiwis but can tolerate down to -40F. They likely will only do well in the warmer parts of Western Montana but could potentially be planted in zone 3 if protected and the vines are cut back and mulched heavily around the base during the winter. Perfect for adventurous cold-climate growers looking for unique, productive vines.
As for our grapes, we offer fresh eating/jam grapes, red wine, and white wine grapes. Most of these vines are hardy to zone 3 with some of them even surviving in zone 2, such as Valiant. Check the descriptions or search the vines by zone.
