It helps. Manchurian Apricot is partially self-fertile, so it can set some fruit alone, but a second variety nearby makes crops more dependable. Plant both trees in the bundle, or add another early apricot such as Westcot or Morden 604, for better crops. Seedlings vary, and cross-pollination gives much more reliable fruit.
