Overview

Perfection is one of only two non-seedling, non-Manchurian commercial apricot cultivars we're growing for 2025—the other being Chinese. While Perfection is not among the hardiest apricots, we've been growing it for several years now, and our earlier plantings have continued to hold up well in our Missoula climate.

Cold Hardiness & Pollination

  • Hardy to: Approximately -30°F

  • If your area experiences colder winters than this, we recommend hardier varieties like Westcot, Morden 604, or other Prairie Province apricots,

  • Pollination: Best results occur when planted with Chinese & Wenatchee Moorpark apricots (also hardy to -30°F), as they pollenize one another effectively
