Our collection of fresh-eating grapes includes Concord, Bluebell, Swenson Red, Somerset, and Valiant. These are all hardy to zone 3 (except Concord which is marginal in Missoula), with Valiant being a zone 2. These cultivars each produce a rich, sweet berry for fresh eating, juice, or jelly (check description for more detail on flavor). In our experience, these grapes are among the most reliable and flavorful (especially Somerset!) for cold-climate growers.
