Pawpaw Trees
These are all currently being offered in trial mode, and we offer no guarantees on survivability given that Montana is not necessarily the climate for Pawpaws. These are seed from seedlings showing the best growth of all the pawpaws we have tried in Montana, and are fairly large in size (check description).
We would therefore say that only consider these Pawpaw Trees if you are located in one of the warmer valleys west of the divide where temps do not drop below -30°F—which really only includes warmer microclimates up on a bench in the Bitterroot, Missoula, Flathead, Mission, and Clark Fork River Valleys, as well as a few other valleys in NW Montana. People in areas colder than here should tread cautiously and focus on the best microclimates near their site (out of frost pockets, higher up slope, near structures, out of the wind, etc.).
