Sapp's Select Hybrid Hazelnut Seeds—50 Seeds: Ships ASAP

This selection is from our good friend James Sapp's most productive hybrid hazel bush in his orchard. The bush has endured -29F and made a full crop of nuts. James has been trying many different seedlings for 7 years and this is his best seedling. It has a very short and wrinkly beak compared to most hybrids. This makes it look small on the bush but this is largely because it makes less husk and more nut. First generation was grown by University of Oregon. Second generation by Akiva (Twisted Tree). Third by James. Pollen partners could be Akiva seedlings, Z’s nutty, badger set, dermis. Zone 3.
