Shade Trees
Shade trees that handle cold winters, wind and dry summers. Most come in bundles, so you can plant a row or a whole shelterbelt.
For fast shade, go with hybrid poplar, cottonwood, peach leaf willow or aspen. For a tree that'll be there a hundred years, plant bur oak, northern red oak or American linden. Linden flowers are great for bees, too.
